Yes, you may get a wonderful pet. My family did. Then we realized all Kay’s care about is money, certainly not good homes. Other reputable shelters check references, do meet and greets, call your vet if you have one, and try to make the best match for you, or you and your family. First one to complete bogus paperwork and hand over $, gets the animal. Stories about background are bogus. We were told two totally different “facts” from two different employees about our puppy. Most of these pets seem to come from neighboring states known for awful, but legal, puppy mills. Please don’t support them. There are so many wonderful, legitimate dog and cat rescues in the area.

Nothing but good things to say about this shelter. I drove by it everyday and finally stopped in. Everyone was super friendly and more than happy to help. I got my sweet boy from them. Adoption process was very straight forward and simple. Would recommend them to others looking for fur babies. Thank you for helping me find my sweet Ernie❤

I had a very good experience adopting my cat from here. When I arrived, they verified my information first and then I was able to meet my cat and decide if I would be taking her home. They seemed to know a lot about the dogs and cats in their shelter, which I took as a good sign. They even showed me pictures of my cat playing in an open space at the shelter and gave me information on how to help my cat transition in my home. I read some other reviews on this place indicating they were only in it for the money, but I highly doubt this. It was $180 to adopt my adult cat and she was fully vaccinated and was already previously checked out for health issues. They also gave me a complimentary vet visit coupon for her first visit with me. Cali (short for Calypso) has been so sweet and loving in our home. I'm so happy to have her as part of our family.

Place takes good care of animals up for adoption. You can also purchase cages and other necessities they have on hand for your new furry best friend! That money goes right back to care for animals, not some corporate greedy pockets (stores). I definitely recommend the place. Great adoption center for animals to become pets. We've adopted a dog and 2 cats in perfect health and with ease of adoption process. Owners are great, knowledgeable, friendly and just good people who care about animals. Why buy when for a reasonable and affordable adoption fee, they have your next pet... a trusty companion... a member of your family. Check them out and judge for yourself.

They are the nicest most friendly people and their selection of angels without wings is amazing and unbelievable spacial sweetest most beautiful precious incredibly unique and absolutely lovely angels. They take in dogs and all ages of cat's, kittens and puppies as well as dog's from shelters that are going to kill these poor innocent abused unwanted baby's that never knowing what pure genuine true unconditional caring love is. But Kay's gives them a second chance at what each and every single one of these beautiful angel really and truly deserve. Thanks to these magnificent amazing truly caring honestly most loving people there helped save each and every single one of these magnificent innocent beautiful animals find a forever caring unbelievable beautiful sweet kind genuine loving home finally!! Doesn't matter what age or anything else they really and truly try their hardest to save as many as they can.
